European Day 2012: Practical Approaches for Measuring Geographical Mobility in Regional and Local Labour Market Observatories

The European Day of the EN RLMM was concerned with inter- and intraregional mobility, different socio-demographic and migrant groups, skilled and unskilled workers, special cases in border regions, reasons for labour mobility as well as in- and out- commuting. It addressed researchers, consultants, representatives of administrative bodies and politicians responsible for youth and labour policies. The main objective of the conference is to identify the most relevant indicators which can be applied to the monitoring of geographical mobility in regions and localities.
